In October of 2009 I went to hear former NBA star Manute Bol speak about his efforts to build schools in Sudan. During the question and answers portion of the talk I stood up and asked Manute a simple question.
I’m only six years old. What can I do?
Josiah and Friends is the answer. It started with a letter I wrote to the children of Sudan. In addition to the $2 that I sent them from my piggy bank to help build their school, I promised to ask my friends to help as well.
